New category of PRIVATE CANDIDATES HSLC Examination
A new category of PRIVATE CANDIDATES is being instituted w.e.f. the HSLC Examination 2014 under the following conditions: -
(a) Any student who would have completed 17 years of age as on 1st April, 2014 may apply as a Private Candidate for HSLC Examination, 2014.
(b) All Candidates shall register themselves directly with the Board on submission of the prescribed Application Form obtainable from the Board's Office on payment of prescribed Enrolment and Examination fees. Detailed schedules are given below.
(c) He/she shall appear and pass a Qualifying Examination (Test), to be conducted by the Board in August, 2013. The Examination (Test) will be in OMR format with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) carrying 30 marks each in English, Mathematics, Science and Social Science only i.e. Total = 120 marks. Pass marks shall be 40 out of 120 marks.
(d) All candidates who have passed the Qualifying Examination conducted by the Board, as above, shall be
eligible to sit at the next HSLC Examination as Private Candidates.
(e) HSLC Examination center for such private candidates shall be in a Board center.

Total Rs. 250/-
(Candidates should pay Rs. 250/- at the time of collection Forms to simplify processing.)
